Introduction to Tom Charron,
Business Adivsor

Tom is a Merger & Acquisition Advisor specializing in representing sellers and buyers of Commercial and Residential Building Maintenance Services, which includes all aspects of Property Maintenance such as commercial janitorial, window washing, HVAC, landscaping, paving, parking lot sweeping, pest control, roofing, traffic services, fire & safety etc.

Tom also specializes in metal fabrication businesses as well as all types of manufacturing businesses. Tom’s 30+ years of business ownership, and the subsequent sale of his businesses, gives him a deep understanding of what an owner is going through when contemplating the sale of his/her business. His multiple ownership experiences give him the ability to advise sellers on how to prepare the business for sale. These experiences have underscored for Tom the importance of building and quarterbacking a team of professionals (transaction attorney, real property and estate attorneys, wealth managers, CPAs and tax specialists) to make sure his clients get to keep the lion’s share of the price received for the business. Along with his association with M&A Business Advisors, Tom brings a wealth of experience that he can tap at any time the need arises. See Tom’s experience below.

2017 to present – Tom joined as an M&A Business Advisor after vetting other M&A firms. He is currently specializing in the area of manufacturing and enjoys the interaction with the owners and management teams with whom he has built relationships.

2005 – 2017 After selling his companies he joined his brother’s scrap metal business, Charron Metals. Besides helping run certain parts of the company, Tom became the sales manager overseeing over 300 local manufacturing companies and creating deep relationships with quite a few owners and managers of these companies.
